Raised panel side tables.

Finally got around to trying some of my tools out and and built a practise pair of end tables. The wood is Douglas Fir, I used this because its not quite as expensive as some of the hardwoods, but I really love the grain and knots in the wood.

My dream

Well the new shop was completed Dec. 2013, and I finally have all of my major stationary tools to start my wood shop, when I retire from my construction job. Still 2 years to go. Can't wait to stay home and build cabinets, furniture etc.

A new start

Well today they started digging the foundation for my new shop. My plan is to work in the construction industry for three or four more years. Then I will have my woodworking shop to work in for my retirement years. Really looking forward to it. I will post all of the progression photos as it is built.
